Summary The summary consists of the major points, conclusions, and recommendations. What makes a good report? What's significant or important about my findings? All legends should be within the graph area, not beside it.
All pages, including figure pages, should be numbered consecutively. A uniform verb tense should be used throughout the report, preferably past tense.
A table or figure should never be inserted into the report without first referring to that table or figure in the text. Since the reports are formal, the first person singular "I" or plural "We" should not be used.
A brief summary of the unique approach your group used to solve the problem should be given, possibly also including a concise introduction to theory or concepts used later to analyze and to discuss the results.
Always print the final report on good quality paper. Section headings can be a different font from the main text if you prefer.
